I am trying to make contact with an old aquaintance called Rob Lyon. The last I knew of him (15 years ago) he had moved to Walkington. He is/was? a technology teacher in one of the Hull schools. My wife and I would very much like to make contact again. I thank you for any help in anticipation.

The appeal in the Newsletter some months ago for estate or street co-ordinators produced only one offer of help! For a Village renowned for it's community spirit, this was very disappointing. Neighbourhood Watch is designed to foster more effective police support so as to create a safer society. Apart from this obvious benefit, householders within a NW Scheme enjoy preferential house insurance rates because of lower criminal activity. All this is only possible by having sufficient co-ordinators to give acceptable area coverage. If you are willing to help please contact George Southern – telephone 868704.
